About DUNK
Who we are
DUNK – Developing Unity, Nurturing Knowledge – is a youth-led, community-based NGO founded in 2010 in Accra, Ghana. Operating in seven communities across Accra and Tamale, DUNK empowers young people through inclusive sports and education. Our programs use group sports as a tool to engage street-connected children and youth to access their right to sports, education, and skills development. The DUNK program is grounded in the principles of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (Articles 28 & 31), the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and Ghana’s National Youth Policy.
